Nowadays private health care patients will often benefit from insurance covering hypnotherapy sessions and many hypnotherapists have clients referred by a GP or even work at the surgery.

The majority of students choose one of two more traditional routes. Those valuing autonomy and independence tend to of set up their own practise. Whilst those who prefer being part of a team may opt to join a clinic or healthcare centre. Others still, are incorporating hypnotherapy in their work within the NHS or otherwise integrating their hypnotherapy skills within an existing profession and moving to a whole new level.
